Day 4, Tuesday

Collection from your hotel. Depart Cape Town and continue via Swellendam in the Overberg area. Mossel Bay marks the start of the famous Garden Route where we visit the Diaz Maritime Museum and Old Post Office Tree. We continue via Robinson Pass to arrive in Oudtshoorn late afternoon.
Dinner, Overnight and Breakfast at La Plume Guest House – Oudtshoorn.

Day 5, Wednesday
Meals: BD
In Oudtshoorn, known as the feather capital of the world, we visit the famous Cango Caves as well as an Ostrich Show Farm for guided tours. Continue over the Outeniqua Pass via George and Wilderness to Knysna.
Dinner, Overnight and Breakfast at Knysna River Club – Knysna.
Day 6, Thursday

After breakfast we embark on a cruise on the Knysna Lagoon. Remainder of the day at leisure.

Day 7, Friday

We continue along the Garden Route via Plettenberg Bay to Nature’s Valley. We travel through the Tsitsikamma Forests over the old and scenic Grootrivier Pass and Bloukrans Pass. Arrival in Port Elizabeth late afternoon.
Overnight & Breakfast at Brookes Hill Suites – Port Elizabeth.
Day 8, Saturday

Day at leisure to explore this city with its strong British influence since the 1820 settlers (optional excursions available).

Day 9, Sunday

After breakfast we travel towards the famous Addo Elephant Park for game viewing. Lunch en-route (not included). From here we continue inland into the Great Karoo (semi desert) and arrive in Graaf Reinet late afternoon.

Day 10, Monday
Meals: BD
Full day to explore the many interesting and historical attractions this town (4th oldest town in South Africa) has to offer including Graaf Reinet Club, Dutch Reformed Church, Galleries, Museums and Reinet House. We depart to the “Valley of Desolation” for sunset

Day 11, Tuesday

Depart after breakfast and continue north via Middelburg towards to the Gariep Dam – largest man-made dam in South Africa. From here we continue into the Free State Province to arrive in Bloemfontein late afternoon.
Dinner, Overnight and Breakfast at Protea Hotel Bloemfontein.
Day 12, Wednesday

Morning excursion to Kimberley “City of Diamonds” for guided tour and visit to “Big Hole” open air museum. Return to Bloemfontein after lunch (not included) for city tour and visit to Woman’s Memorial - commemorating the thousands of woman and children who lost their lives in concentration camps during the Anglo-Boer War at the turn of the century.  
Dinner. Overnight and Breakfast at Protea Hotel Bloemfontein.
Day 13, Thursday
Meals: BD
Depart after breakfast. Travel along the Lesotho border to Golden Gate. We continue down the Drakensberg Escarpment via Oliviershoek Pass our hotel in the Northern Berg region, where we arrive late afternoon. 
Dinner, Overnight and Breakfast at Alpine Health Resort - Drakensberg.
Day 14, Friday
Meals: BD
Full day at leisure to explore the surrounding area. Activities include hiking, golfing, and horse riding.

Day 15, Saturday
Meals: B
Depart after breakfast. Travel via Natal midlands to Howick Falls and Pietermaritzburg. From here we continue via valley of 1000 Hills to Durban where we arrive at your hotel late afternoon.
Overnight and Breakfast at Riverside Hotel - Durban.
Day 16, Sunday
Meals: BLD
Depart from Durban and continue along the sugarcane fields of the North Coast where we travel to the Zulu Kingdom and a famous traditional Zulu Village for cultural experience and dances and to learn more about the lifestyle of this proud nation. Lunch (included) is served here as well. Continue to Hluhluwe for overnight.

Day 17, Monday
Meals: BD
Depart after breakfast and and continue to the Kingdom of Swaziland (passport required – visa may be required). We visit the Swazi Candle Factory, Mbabane Open Market and Ngwenya Glass factory before continuing north into the high mountains of Swaziland.
Dinner, Overnight and Breakfast at Foresters Arms Hotel – Swaziland.
Day 18, Tuesday

Depart after breakfast to the border where we return to South Africa. We enter the sub-tropical paradise of fruit, known as the lowveld and continue to the world famous Kruger Park for a full day game viewing in search of the wildlife wonders Africa offers her visitors in this unspoiled land where big game still roam freely. We might even spot the Big Five (Lion, Elephant, Rhino, Buffalo and Leopard). At sunset we arrive at our restcamp for dinner and overnight. Option for open vehicle night game drive.

Day 19, Wednesday

Depart at sunrise for another full day filled with the search for big game.  Breakfast packs on board. Return to restcamp late afternoon for dinner and overnight. Option for open vehicle night game drive.

Day 20, Thursday

We continue our search of the big game during the morning game viewing. After lunch (not included), we make our way to the gate of the park. This is our last opportunity to spot more game before we exit the park late afternoon and continue to our hotel

Day 21, Friday
Meals: B
Depart after breakfast for a full day of sightseeing as we travel along the Drakensberg escarpment. The scenic Panorama route takes us to the Blyde River Canyon, Three Rondawels, God’s Window, Bourke’s Luck Potholes and the nostalgic village of Pilgrim’s Rest. We continue on our accent up the mountain and return to the plains of the highveld where we arrive in Johannesburg late afternoon.

Day 22, Saturday

Departure transfer to airport for your onward journey.
