Arrive Nairobi. Connect with flight NBOJRO. Transfer from Arusha Airport to Impala Hotel.
12h00 Lunch at Impala Hotel. (If flight arrives after 13h00 you will be taken to the Impala Hotel and given a lunch box).
14h00 Depart Arusha and travel west to the Ngorongoro Conservation area.
The Ngorongoro crater, situated 2,286 sq metres above sea level, is the largest unbroken caldera in the world.

Surrounded by very steep walls rising 610 metres from the crater floor, this natural amphitheatre covers an area of about 260 sq kms – home to up to 25,000 larger mammals, almost half of them zebra and wildebeest.
There are also gazelle, buffalo, eland, hartebeest and wart hog. Such vast numbers attract predators, mainly lion and hyena but also cheetah and leopard.
The crater has been declared a world Heritage Site.

08H00 Morning game drive in the crater. Lunch at the lodge. 14h00 Proceed to Northern Serengeti via Olduvai Gorge.

The Serengeti National Park is arguably the best known wildlife sanctuary in the world.
Serengeti means “endless plains” in the Maasi language.
