This five star masterpiece is reminiscent of a bygone era, with all the luxuries of modern day living. All 173 rooms have air conditioning, satellite TV, mini bar, telephone, safe and furnished balconies. The bar and lounge area offer relaxation under thatched shade with comfortable armchairs and low ottomans. The Royal Livingstone promises an unparalleled level of luxury, service and sophistication. Access is flights into either Livingstone or Victoria Falls.

Eagle Island Camp at Xaxaba (pronounced KaKaaba), which means ‘island of tall trees’, is a water-based, tent camp situated in the Central Delta. The camp is a cool retreat from the African sun and is shaded by a canopy of indigenous trees. Xaxaba is one of the Delta’s most pristine natural locations, a region of myriad waterways, palm-treed lined islands and vast flood plains. The bird and animal life in this region is prolific.

Khwai River Lodge is one of the oldest safari lodges in Botswana. It is located eight kilometres north-west of the north gate of Moremi Wildlife Reserve. The camp is set under old indigenous leadwood and fig trees. It has a commanding view of the Khwai River flood plain and is the perfect location for observing the perennial drama of the African bushveld. During the day, view game from terraced game vehicles, the observation deck, guided walks or from the lodge’s swimming pool. True to the tradition of safari, a long day in the bush is rewarded by an evening of superb cuisine and excellent service. It also offers excellent birding. The camp also boasts Naturally Wild, a unique spa and massage experience.

Savute Elephant Camp is dramatically different from Gametracker’s southern camps. It is located on the Savute Channel in Chobe National Park, which is a rugged, semi-arid wilderness region of far northern Botswana. And it is a tented camp in true African style. The area is known for its exciting game viewing and excellent birding. This area also presents you with the rare opportunity of viewing rock paintings drawn by the early Bushmen, who once inhabited the region. As this camp is situated in the Chobe National Park, park regulations prohibit night drives and walking. These regulations, however, are to be viewed by the Department of Wildlife.
